Hat tip to Mathieu Hubert who alerted me to this Exactly Right sighting. Les Coulisses du Pouvoir is a program on Radio-Canada that airs every Sunday.

The topic was the Conservative plan for climate change, and this site is mentioned in a section that talks about blog reactions around the net. The program referenced this post from Exactly Right.

Here’s a video clip from the program. Exactly Right is mentioned about 50 seconds into the feature.

To quickly summarize my original post on this topic, I said it was a good thing that the very vocal envrionmentalists did not like the Conservative environmental plan. Most extreme environmental groups have only one cause, and would sacrifice the Canadian economy to protect the environment. My position is that we need a balanced approach.

It would be irresponsible to do nothing to protect our environment, (which the Liberals did for 13 years), and it would also be irresponsible to do everything for the environment with little regard for the economic consequences (which David Suzuki and others are advocating).

The Radio-Canada feature was trying to show an assortment of blog opinions on this topic.
